Last appearing in Kenner's vintage line, Wooof has to be one of thr most highly anticipated characters from Jabba's Palace released in the modern line. And he's well worth the wait! Wooof is another phenomenal Jabba's Palace alien figure, of the same high quality as the Giran figure released in 2009's Legacy Collection (another Jabba goon that belongs to the same green-skinned race of Nikto as Wooof does). Believe it or not, Wooof seems to have a different headsculpt than Giran's despite their nearly identical appearance. But just like Giran, Wooof's headsculpt is remarkably detailed down to the last scale on his face. The rest of Wooof is also a completely new sculpt, and it's totally phenomenal. It's amazing how much detail can go into these background characters that only had seconds of screen time standing in the shadows of Jabba's Palace.

Wooof also includes a soft goods skirt (just like the original vintage figure!) made of a great material that perfectly resembles the way his outfit looked in the film. His accessories include the standard skiff guard blaster pistol which can fit in a working holster on his belt; a vibrolance made with a sturdy plastic that prevents any bending from occuring (which can sometimes be a problem with this kind of accessory); and a fantastic removable helmet that looks very accurate to its loose-fitting appearance in the film but actually fits pretty securely. Wooof is just another exceptional action figure in The Vintage Collection's outstanding Return of the Jedi wave and a must-have for any Star Wars collection! Be sure to pick up Wooof, since he seems to be the 'pegwarmer' of the Return of the Jedi wave and collector-oriented figures like these need as much support from us as possible!
