Luke Skywalker (Endor Capture) is the single greatest Original Trilogy "hero" type figure of all time! It seems Luke Skywalker in his black outfit from Return of the Jedi is a figure Hasbro's tried over and over and over again to get right, and never quite achieved action figure perfection (well, a couple versions including the recent Legacy Collection disaster flat out sucked). Well, Luke Skywalker (Endor Capture) renders all previous attempts completely useless. Hasbro has absolutely nailed this figure! The likeness is terrific (and the headsculpt somehow reminds me of the original vintage Luke Skywalker (Jedi Knight Outfit) figure only now with modern quality). The accessories are just enough. The binders are cool, and it's always great to have both a beautiful lit lightsaber and an unlit lightsaber hilt that can plug into the belt. And the best part is that this figure has some extreme articulation AND a flawless sculpt with all the right proportions. Like most of the figures from the highly exceptional Return of the Jedi wave, Luke Skywalker (Endor Capture) looks like he jumped right out of the movie screen and into our collections. And the articulation is incredible. It's all ball-jointed articulation (even the hips and wrists) with the exception of the waist; which is okay since the figure's Legacy Collection predecessor had horrible ball-jointed waist articulation that gave it a barrel chest and made it look awful. Everything about this figure is just 100% perfect; except for the original "(Jedi Knight Outfit)" subtitle and Jabba's Palace image on the cardback, both of which have since been revised in more recent assortments. Every Star Wars collector MUST buy this figure. It's a work of art. Even fans who don't collect Hasbro Star Wars stuff should add Luke Skywalker (Endor Capture) to their collections. It's one of the very best examples of what Hasbro's capable of producing in our beloved Star Wars line. I can't say enough about how fantastic this action figure is.
